Tony,

Like foreshadowing in a novel or great film, you tell of litigation and
threats of lawsuits, and, days later, the forum shuts down.

I wrote to Jim and Thom asking for the real reason.  Thom wrote back and
told me that he could no longer afford the attorney's fees to constantly 
fend off the threats of lawsuits by certain members.

Certain members?  Or certain member?  Can I guess who?

This is absolutely unconscionable; that a threat of a lawsuit can shut
down a perfectly good forum is certainly an example of impeding freedom of
speech.

Can you fill me in here?  What happens now?

I've heard from some members who are protesting to CompuServe.  What do
you think should or can be done?

I'll be in Boston all next week (Sunday - Saturday).  I'm staying at the
Dedham Hilton; give me a call if you want to have a cup of coffee or
something.
