Subj: Full Train on TU Section: To: MARK R. TOFT, 75021,520 Thursday, February 16, 1995 8:04:07 PM From: Mark, Gerard McNally's message #306131 in the Political Debate Forum on February 5, 1995 is all the proof I need that there is in this forum one or more disinformationists, whose only purpose is not to debate the facts of the JFK assassination, but to heckle and harass serious researchers. His message was designed to impress the impressionable readers here and make it appear as though I was misinformed or misinforming. It seems that instead of actually studying the evidence they are playing a game of "how low can you go." As you correctly pointed out, it should be obvious even to a kindergartener that the photo in CE 2215 was not taken during the assassination. Where is the limo on Elm? Where are the other motorcade cars? Where are the spectators? Where is the Umbrella Man? It is obvious that this was an FBI exhibit prepared later. I don't remember the exact date, but I would guess off the top of my head that it was probably taken by Shaneyfelt in March 1964 when he took all the other Dealey Plaza photos. Just looking at the exhibit you can see that the photograph was taken from a point in the middle of the north lane of Elm Street. If that were taken during the assassination, the photographer would have been seen in that spot in other photos and none was. And the photographer would have been run over by one of the motorcycle cops. So, simple logic should make it clear that the photo could not have been taken during the assassination. As much as I detest Gerald Posner, even Posner, IMHO, is not stupid enough to claim that CE 2215 proves that there was a train on the triple underpass during the assassination. And I do credit Posner with being honest enough to come forward and admit that he was mistaken. Tony
