To: alt.conspiracy.jfk In his WEB page, Dale Myers indirectly acknowledged that he could not align JFK and JBC properly for a SBT scenario at Z223. He did a good job of matching the positions of his computer models to the victims in the Zapruder film, though I would question whether Connally was turned the app. 17 degrees right he shows in the attached GIF. Many people believe JBC was turned closer to 10 degrees. But even with that, he *still* fails to bring JBC's armpit/back wound far enough to the left to fall into correct alignment with the JFK neck wound! In the file, MYERS.GIF, he illustrates the margin for error with a red cone, which is extremely misleading. While cones are excellent when we have no idea where a shot came from, in this case we know a trajectory from the SN to JBC would be between 16 and 17 degrees. Therefore, his margin for error should have been represented by a series of 16-17 degree parallel lines. The cone he presents gives the false impression that we can honestly consider angles as small as a couple of degrees. I overlayed two lines in this picture. One, shows the trajectory which would strike JBC's armpit location - the other would be consistent with JFK's back and neck wounds. The two lines are much too far apart to be reconciled by anything less than some drastic repositioning of the victims; IOW, well beyond Myers' 5% margin for error. Perhaps we can persuade Mr. Myers to simulate the positions of the two men at Z186-187 where Governor Connally is turned considerably further to his right. The results might surprise a lot of us.
