Subj: Lundberg/AMA & JFK Section: JFK Debate To: Anthony Marsh, 72127,2301 Sunday, June 11, 1995 9:58:00 PM From: Gerard McNally, 73763,436 #367814 Tony, >You have not been keeping up with the latest info and reading the necessary texts. Seems that I have to visit the copy machine this weekend. The JAMA article has all the autopsy doctors NOW agreeing that there was a bullet entrance wound at about the level of the EOP. And as you state, this is a blatantly obvious error when you look at the X-rays (I think you mean photos, perhaps?). Absolutely false conclusion! Boswell and Humes gave a long interview and Finck gave a separate interview. They talked about things that mattered to them, namely that they have been abused over the years by people ignorant of the facts, who weren't there. Humes said that the beveling of the skull made it blatantly obvious that the shot entered from the rear; stated he was in charge; stated that the head did most definitely have a brain & that the idea of JFK arriving in a body bag was preposterous. The whole purpose of the interview was to dispel the myths. They said nothing about the location of the wound! It was only after letters from Aguilar and other conspiratorialists came in that the Doctors basically refused to engage the question and said that they had submitted an autopsy report and they were sticking with it. Boswell said the same to Aguilar: we wrote a report; that's where to go to to get good info, not from us in '94. BTW, it was through computer enhancements of the X_RAYS that the FPP was able to determine the location of the head wound. Jerry
