Rafting 2

    The rafting trip continues...

Most of the time the water was only 1 m or so deep. Occasionally, however, such as here, it was deeper than the poles. Maximum depth was something like 15 to 20 m.

A frog-shaped rock along the way.

A triple peak.

Although we weren't in a hurry (because so many people were watching the World Cup game), we did pass one extra-wide raft, which gave rise to some good-natured joshing.

I made a "V" and got a whole lot of them back. But victory was ours, for we were the passers and they the passees.

Daring Liqi rides backwards for a sterling photo.

A beautiful scene along a quiet stretch of water.

Note the rocky bottom and the shallow-water rapids ahead.
