Our tour of Turtle Island continues...

This is a monument to teachers and education, in line with Tan Kahkee's high regard for education and his investment in it.

One of the buildings in Turtle Park houses a traditional Chinese orchestra that performs on bells, stringed instruments, and an ancient flute each hour. At the showing we attended, the four of us comprised the entire audience. Here is a snapshot of the 15-minute performance. Hearing these instruments played within a few feet of you is truly a memorable experience that I highly recommend to anyone with even the faintest interest in music. In short, don't miss it!

The zither player was kind enough to pose for a picture afterwards.

Turtle Island is really a special place.
