Chicago 16–17 June 2007
I spent the weekend of 16–17 June 2007 in Chicago with my
Chinese goddaughter Jiang Yan (Janie), who is studying for a Ph.D. at Purdue
University. The weather cooperated (most of the time), and we had a lot of fun
before settling down to our various tasks for the rest of the summer.
For the technical minded, I shot all the pictures with my new
Canon EOS 30D and its basic 17–85-mm lens with image stabilizer. Even the night
pictures came out very well. Enjoy!
